When reviewing your Failure Samples, you may come across a reported double pass. This is where you see no failure. This can be confusing as you are in fact reviewing Failure Samples. Generally, Failure Samples are only comprised of failures. Seeing double pass samples is rare but can happen in samples reported by Yahoo.
After bringing this to Yahoo's attention they have informed us that the reporting of these messages happens when there are varying domains in the From: header, typically across the 5322.From and the Friendly From. Though this does not cause DMARC to fail for the message, they feel it is important to mention the alignment. We are working with them to report this information differently as it can be confusing when the messages are listed as failures even though they are not. For now, please note when you see double passes such as this in the DMARC-SPF pass and DMARC-DKIM pass, the message did not actually fail DMARC.
