As of April 1st, Agari Phishing Defense now includes a new COVID-19 attack classification. This new attack classification was released to help you and your organization detect new exploits based on recent events.
This new attack classification uses research from Agari's own ACID team, along with a number of other research and reports to determine maliciousness. This can include checking for new COVID related URIs and Imposters of organizations such as WHO and the CDC. We will also be updating its criteria as new information becomes available and verified.
To create a policy for the new COVID-19 attack classification, please see Making s COVID-19 Policy.
Founder and CEO of Agari, Pat Peterson recently spoke with Yahoo! Finance TV about how attackers have changed some of their strategies recently. For more details about the interview, see How email scams and phishing attacks are capitalizing on the coronavirus..
