As the email world is constantly changing there is some ongoing maintenance and best practices that need to be performed.
Managing your On-Prem sensors
For customers with on-prem Exchange / on-prem Agari Sensors, you will need to update these from time to time. New sensor versions are released a few times a year and can be seen by navigating to Manage > Sensors and looking for an "Update Now" hyperlink. If there is an available sensor upgrade we recommend upgrading one at a time. An upgrade can take 10-20mins and may require a reboot. Please make sure each sensor successfully upgrades before moving to the next sensor.
Acquiring new companies and domains
After your initial on-boarding process you may acquire new companies and domains. When this happens you should log onto the Agari portal and tag these domains as "Internal" or "Partner" for proper identification.
As your company changes over time, the high-value targets you want to protect against Imposters may change. Keeping your Address Group users up to date can be as simple as making sure you have the proper users in the proper Active Directory (AD) group which syncs with APD. If on-prem, you may need to add these users to the respected Address Groups manually.
