On Tuesday 21st June 2022, Agari identified performance impacting behavior affecting the Agari Phishing Defense (APD) service.
As a result of an authentication issue, system interoperability was effected, resulting in a brief degradation to the APD service lasting approximately 1 hour.
For customers with an inline configuration this resulted in a disruption to mail flow. For all other customers mail flow continued and delays were limited to policy enforcement were experienced.

Note: For inline customers message backlog, as a result of the degradation, took approximately 3 hours to fully clear after the issue was resolved.
The authentication issue was resolved and interoperabiltiy restored.
Agari will be implementing additional monitoring, specifically around this area of functionality, to provide early notification should this event reoccur.
